HarPA supported parents and carers to kick start resident-led street play by providing guidance and support online.
This programme was targeted at neighbourhoods in nine areas with poor health outcomes.
Working with locally based voluntary organisations and local authorities, we advised on the policies and processes that support resident-led street play.
We campaigned to raise awareness about the benefits of playing out, increased acceptance of children playing near where they live and stimulate demand for street play.
This project was run in partnership with Haringey Council & Play England and funded by the Department of Health.
